ParchiVisa

The problem

A student visa application can fail on one missing document or one unexplained gap. ParchiVisa checks an application against the official requirements for the UK, Australia, Canada or the USA before it is submitted.

What I built

1. 01

   Validated the problem through user conversations and a scoring prototype, then shipped to production in six weeks.

2. 02

   Four country-specific eligibility engines, with the rules kept as data.

3. 03

   Tiered band-capping: any single hard blocker caps the result, however strong the rest of the profile is.

4. 04

   Retrieval over a structured corpus of official requirements feeds an LLM that writes the narrative. The verdict is computed deterministically, so a model failure cannot change it.

5. 05

   One React report template rendered to both web and PDF with headless Playwright, so the two can't drift apart.

6. 06

   Runs on AWS Lightsail behind Cloudflare. Intake, scoring, PDF and payment run end to end with no manual steps.

Honest limits

• It can't yet separate a borderline pass from a borderline fail. That needs outcome data it doesn't have yet.
